The Club Management Portal is an administrative system that I have been developing since July 2016.
The idea for it came about when I was the Strathclyde University Golf team captain and I was responsible for club administration. The Sports Union used a paper based system for transport and finance requests which was a little archaic.
I decided that an online system would be less time consuming and easier to use for both administrators and end users. It offers improved record keeping and also allows remote access to applications.
This system has been built not only for use by the University of Strathclyde Sports Union but also other organisations. This includes organisations whose primary focus is not sport.
The University of Strathclyde Sports Union went live with the system in September 2017 and have found it has significantly reduced the administrative burden on office staff and club officials.
Scottish Student Sport the governing body for student sport are using the CMP for their award process this year.
If you are interested in a demonstration of the system or wish more information please get in touch
